Practice ACT - a handout designed for giving a practice ACT in class ( this one is for Reading and English, but can be used for the other areas)
Reading Section
ACT Reading notes on tricky answers - Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3 of these notes on "sneaky" answers line up with worksheet 1, 2, and 3 below
ACT Reading worksheet -tricky answers 1- a worksheet for practicing one type of tricky answers on the ACT
Sneaky answers workhseet 2- aligns with notes for day 2 - practice for students on the second type of tricky answer
Vocab and roman numerals worksheet - Can't seem to find the notes for this, but it is a practice worksheet for reading questions that are "special" (give options in roman numerals, or just deal with specific vocabulary words)
English Section
I used the notes below (which are based on the Princeton Review book's list of most commonly tested ACT English grammar errors), then had the students practice the individual types in their grammar books.
Science Reasoning Section
ACT Science Notes- a set of notes introducing the Science section, and then giving strategies for each of the three basic types of science questions. Based on the Princeton Review strategies.
